Nonfiction Foods

our goal

The media makes it hard to know what is fact or fiction. Nonfiction Foods was created to bridge the gap between science and the foods we eat every day.

Everything in food is science. The only subjective part is when you eat it.
— Alton Brown

WHat is food science?

Food Science is the study of the biological and chemical composition of food products, including the safety, packaging, and processing methods used to prepare food for consumption. The principles of Food Science are interdisciplinary and can be applied to many non-scientific fields including the Culinary Arts and Gastronomy - and yes even to the cooking you do at home!
